75th Independence Day

The 15th day of August marks the Independence Day of India. This year we celebrated the 76th Independence Day of India, completing 75 years of Independence from the British rule. At National Public School, ITPL, Independence Day was celebrated with unprecedented patriotic fervour. The portentous day began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our respected Director-Principal and Dean followed by the singing of the National Anthem, the melody of which echoed in the entire campus.

The programme further commenced inside the school auditorium. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the students from Grades 4 to 11 through a spectrum of patriotic speeches in English, Hindi, and Kannada, exceptional dance performances and mellifluent musical renditions. The splendid programme concluded with the vote of thanks. The day ended with sweets and drinks distributed to all the students. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
