Light and Shadow
Under the guidance of their teacher, the students conducted shadow experiments in courtyard B on a sunny morning, encouraging agency, inquiry to amplify learning to deepen their understanding of light and its properties.
The hands-on activities involved shadow observations. Using a measuring tape, they recorded the measurements of shadows and noted how their size and position changed with the angle and distance of the light source.
Through these insightful experiments, they discovered how shadows form and learned practically about terms like transparency, opacity, and the behavior of light, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
The knowledge-building process followed a constructivist approach, where students actively developed their understanding through hands-on experiences, inquiry, and reflection.
