World Wildlife Day
“The earth is what we all have in common.” – Wendell Berry
The pre-primary students of NPS ITPL enthusiastically commemorated World Wildlife Day, engaging in insightful activities that emphasized the importance of protecting animals and their natural habitats. Through these initiatives, young learners developed a deeper understanding of their role in preserving wildlife for a sustainable and healthier planet.
The event commenced with the nursery students presenting the Thought of the Day, sparking an engaging discussion on the significance of conserving forests and wildlife for a flourishing environment. This was followed by a heartwarming skit, The Happy Jungle, which conveyed the critical message of coexistence and the necessity of safeguarding animals and their ecosystems. Adding to the vibrancy of the event, the students captivated the audience with an energetic and lively animal dance, celebrating the richness and diversity of the animal kingdom.
The assembly concluded on an inspiring note, as students took a solemn pledge to contribute positively towards wildlife conservation and the well-being of our planet.
To further enhance their understanding, students participated in a creative activity by crafting colorful animal headgear, fostering awareness about various species in an engaging and interactive manner.
