World Environment Day 2026 - Grade VI-VIII
“The Earth hums softly beneath our feet, asking only for care, not conquest.”
On June 10, 2026, Terra House students of Grades VI to VIII commemorated World Environment Day through a special assembly dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainable living. A powerful skit titled ‘The Voice of the Hills’ vividly brought nature’s silent struggles to life, followed by a vibrant dance performance that beautifully symbolised the harmony between humans and the environment. Students highlighted pressing concerns such as deforestation, pollution, and resource depletion, while promoting eco-friendly practices and environmental stewardship.
The assembly concluded with a collective pledge, reinforcing shared responsibility to protect nature and inspiring the school community to adopt sustainable choices in daily life going forward today.
