The 12th of August was a momentous day for National Public School, ITPL as we held our maiden inter-school Commerce Fest – ‘Commverse – The Entrepreneurs Conclave’ for Grades 9 to 12. 

We had around 130 students from 12 schools participating in the fest. The event was a celebration of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration. 

Commverse provided a platform for bourgeoning talents in the field of commerce to showcase their skills in economics, finance, commercial law and entrepreneurship. The fest encompassed a series of captivating competitions that ignited the passion for commerce among students through activities like: ‘In Pursuit of Justice’, ‘Wolf of Dalal Street’, ‘Pitch Perfect’, ‘The Social Network’, ‘Risk Corridor’, ‘99 Francs’, ‘Locked in Silence’, and many more.

National Public School, ITPL’s maiden inter-school Commerce Fest – ‘Commverse – The Entrepreneurs Conclave’ for Grades 9 to 12 concluded with a scintillating Valedictory event. Around 130 students from 12 schools participated in the fest. The event was graced by esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Shridhara Murthy, who has done his doctoral studies from VIT University and has an MBA from University of North Carolina, our honourable CEO Dr. Chaithra Harsha, respected Dean of Academics Ms. Charulatha Prakaash, external judges for the competitions: Ms. Nitisha Kundu, Ms. Sheetal AjayMr. Srishiv Patro, and Mr. Amit Banerjee, Deputy Head, SMEs, coordinators, teachers and the student participants. 

Award Ceremony

The winners and runners-up of the various competitions received their trophies and certificates from the Chief Guest, CEO and the Dean of Academics. The winners are as follows – 

1. For the competition ‘In Pursuit of Justice’ the winners were from DPS, Whitefield and the runner-up was from Deens Academy, Whitefield.

2. ‘Risk Corridor’ the winners were from Shishya BEML Public School and the runner-up was from Gopalan International School.

3. ‘Locked in Silence’ the winners were from New Horizon Gurukul and the runner-up was from Ujjval World School.

4. ‘Catch them if you can’ the winners were from DPS, North and the runner-up was from Bishop Cotton Boys School.

5. ‘Margin Call’ the winners were from New Horizon Gurukul and the runner-up was from DPS, North.

6. ‘Wolf of Dalal Street’ the winners and the runner-up were from DPS, North.

7. ’99 Francs’ the winners and the runner-up were from DPS, North.

8. ‘The Social Network’ the winners were from New Horizon Gurukul and the runner-up was from Shishya BEML Public School.

9. ‘Pitch Perfect’ the winners were from Bishop Cotton Boys School and the runner-up was from DPS, Whitefield.
