Field Trip – Grade I

The Grade I students of NPS ITPL went on an educational field trip to Picket Fence Farm on January 29th, 2026. 

Nestled at the base of Nandi Hills in Bengaluru, the farm offered an engaging countryside experience. 

Students were delighted to see animals such as sheep, goats, cows, rabbits, and ducks, along with exotic species like turtles, iguanas, and hedgehogs. 

A highlight of the visit was the huge aviary, home to parakeets, finches, and parrots, which captivated the young learners. Under supervision, they had the chance to pet and feed the animals, deepening their understanding of farm life and wildlife.

Beyond animal interactions, the students also participated in a pottery activity, where they crafted their own pots and proudly carried them home as souvenirs. 

This trip proved to be a truly hands-on experience, fostering a stronger bond with nature and animals while instilling a sense of appreciation and curiosity in the students.
