Field Trip - Grade VI

National Public School, ITPL, Bengaluru organised a field trip for Grade 6 students to the Bangalore Palace on 6 August 2025 with an objective of providing them with an opportunity to explore the city’s rich heritage, appreciate architectural marvels and gain insights into the royal history of Karnataka.
 
As the students arrived at the grand palace, they were captivated by its majestic Tudor-style architecture, fortified towers and beautifully landscaped gardens. Guided tours took them through the opulent interiors adorned with ornate carvings, vintage furniture and elegant chandeliers. The audio commentary provided fascinating anecdotes about the Wadiyar dynasty, the construction of the palace and the historical events it had witnessed.
 
The students also enjoyed exploring the art gallery, which displayed a remarkable collection of photographs, paintings and royal memorabilia. The visit to the expansive palace grounds offered them a chance to admire the blend of Gothic and Indian architectural elements.
Certainly, the day-long trip proved to be an enriching experience, fostering curiosity, cultural awareness and a deeper appreciation for the state’s royal legacy.
