At NPS ITPL, we celebrated Friendship Day on August 2nd, integrating the vibrant purple colour. This special day highlighted the importance of friendship and the joy it brings to our lives. Students in the Pre-primary section engaged in crafting friendship bands using chart paper and satin ribbons, which they exchanged with their friends, symbolizing their appreciation with the heartfelt messages.
The color purple, a blend of the stability of blue and the energy of red, beautifully represents the essence of friendship. The day’s activities included games like “Pick and Name the Purple Object” and “Ring the Purple Object,” making the celebration both fun and memorable. This event reminded everyone that true friendship is about listening, sharing, and kindness.
