International Tiger Day
The students of Grade I and II, NPS ITPL observed International Tiger Day on August 1st 2025.
They participated wholeheartedly, keeping in tandem with the theme # Harmonious Coexistence between Humans and Tigers, and highlighted the pressing need for sustainable living and protecting shared ecosystems.
Interactive discussions and informative displays increased awareness about the tiger population, habitat loss, climate change and the illegal wildlife trade that left a deep impact on the young minds to save this majestic animal from extinction.
To show their unwavering support for tiger conservation and environmental stewardship, students marked this day with poster-making activities and making thumb-printed cards across the sections.
