Reinforcing Rhyming Digraphs
The rhyming digraph words took an active learning mode in Grade 2.
An active recall of the rules sparked a good review of the learnt concepts, prompting them to call the key concepts they had previously learned. This technique not only reinforced their understanding but also set the stage for the upcoming lesson.
By revisiting the rules together, the students were better prepared to apply the knowledge and build on it as the learning progressed. The exercise fostered participation and strengthened the connection between theory and practice, making it a collaborative peer learning.
