On this Teachers’ Day let’s remember a quote by Marilyn Appelbaum – “The children you teach may not remember you when they get older, but they will always have a part of you inside them. The part that gave them hope and love and taught them to believe in themselves.”
Teachers’ Day is celebrated in honour of teachers and their contributions towards the education of students. We celebrate it to appreciate the passion and dedication with which teachers work towards enriching the life of young learners. On this occasion the students from Grades 8 and 9 of NPS, ITPL presented a special assembly to honour and celebrate their teachers. The assembly began with the solemn school prayer. Subsequently, the students of Grade 8 rendered a musical recital on the importance of teachers. This was followed by a peppy dance performance by the girls of Grades 8 and 9. To tickle the funny bones of the audience the students performed a humourous skit on the pivotal role played by teachers in the lives of the students. The assembly concluded with the Vote of Thanks and National Anthem.
