At NPS ITPL, we prioritize fostering an inclusive environment where acceptance and appreciation for social diversity are integral to our teaching approach.

To nurture this ethos from an early age, we organized a celebration integrating the Cherry Blossom festival with Pink Day. Students, dressed in pink attire, enthusiastically participated in the festivities. The highlight of the event was a special assembly led by our Montessori students, who eloquently elucidated the significance of the color pink and its connection to the Cherry Blossom festival, observed both in Japan and in the Indian state of Meghalaya.

Throughout the day, students engaged in various craft activities, transforming the celebration into a vibrant ‘Hanami’ experience, a Japanese term that translates to ‘viewing of flowers’. Our students took pride in showcasing their creations, exuding the spirit of the festival while radiating in pink.
