“Science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic method based on evidences.” On 28 February 2024, the students of National Public School, ITPL came together for an assembly on ‘National Science Day’ showcasing their talents and creativity displaying a majestic show. The assembly commenced with an uplifting Rap song, composed by a student of Grade 5 on the theme of ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’; This was followed by a captivating and thought-provoking dance performance on ‘The Advancement of Sustainable Energy sources’.
The assembly concluded with an exciting and intellectual quiz round on ‘Indian Scientists and Technologies’. Host of activities like treasure hunt, poster making, making greeting cards based on acid base indicators and other scientific concepts were taken up. The assembly made the students realize Kurt Vonnegut’s words that Science is magic that works and transforms our lives providing a new direction to think, invent new technology.
