Teacher Trainer

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a ‘Teacher Trainer’ who can guide teachers in implementing their learning of pedagogy and knowledge in the classroom, executing courses themselves and through others. An individual who understands, assimilates, translates, and creates the modules for knowledge; teaching, and learning strategies.

Teacher Trainer Duties:

  • Integrate new training methods into the existing curriculum.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Design and deliver modules based on Student-Centered learning
  • Work supportively with teachers and manage difficult training situations.
  • Plan and deliver a teacher training session taking different approaches, building in variety and interest.
  • Manage the process of classroom observation, including providing pre-lesson support with planning.
  • Provide effective written and oral feedback on teaching and manage the post-lesson discussion sensitively.
  • Evaluate, track, and report on Teacher performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements And Skills:

  • Proven teaching experience
  • Experience in training adult learners
  • Teaching certification (preferred) CIDTL or IB training preferable.
  • Proven administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Must be active teachers or trainers currently demonstrating deep and progressive teaching practice, with a hands-on approach.
